In the newer version you have remove the Zip from the karaoke formats and I know it was not recommended but used it with no trouble and now that it is missing I will have to redo all my files. NOT A EASY OR GOOD JOB! Is there any chance of getting this added back into the program? I am talking a large number of files and lots of time to convert them. Please Help If not what is the last version that had it and I will have to go back to it.

Dana are you talking about importing the karaoke files or the association of KP with the extension? If you're talking about the extension, does this mean KP doesn't read your zip extensions?

over looked it it is there and sees the zip songs but for some reason it is not seeing the zip folders when I import them I have to unzip the cd and put the songs in a folder then they are seen. I have not been very active the last few months and am trying to catch up.
Once in a folder the will import ok but they are not name as they are in the file pursing is set the same as before on other computer. I am working with a new computer with windows 8 so still learning that at the same time.

still can't import a zip fill as I could in the past and have it see all the songs inside the zipped fill. If I unzip it and put all songs in a folder then all songs in folder are seen. Any one have any Idea on this one?I was able to have a folder in a zipped format in the past and have everything seen and imported separately Thank you ahead of time.

Dana, all we have done is removed ZIP from the list of file extensions that could be associated with Siglos. You still can import ZIP files in 'Import Songs' -- ZIPs are still there, nothing has changed. You do not need to unzip or convert them, everything works as before there.

Will give it a try again but twice it would not load them. It would load the entire zip file and show it but not the songs in the file. once I unzipped them and put them in a folder they all show as they should. Just got home from a gig but will spend time on this tomorrow and let you know my out come. If the same I will email you one of the zip files I can't get to load.

Tried loading the songs into a data base on two computers One with win xp and one with win 8 folder has a full zip cd in it and when loaded it only loads the zipped file as a single file. If I unzip the full cd into a folder and have that folder along with others in a single folder then all songs will load into the data base with all songs showing up correctly and name properly. Have emailed the one file as a zipped file to you. You will have to load it into a folder I couldn't send it that way

Dana, can you also email me a screenshot of Import Songs dialog box before you start importing?

Dana, the ZIP file you have sent me contains several ZIP files. It was never supported, one ZIP file can contain only two files - MP3 and CDG. If you unzip ZIP files, they should import fine.

yes when I unzip the they work find in the past I was able to install files that were zipped and had a full cd and it would import each song in the zipped file. That is what I was getting at. I have in the pasted been able to import a zipped folder with all of the songs in one zip file and it would see all the songs. Or at least it seemed that way on older versions. I may have to revert back to a older version were I could do this. ?????

Dana, I am 100% sure that it did not work in the past either.
