here goes my brain again.....
on the history search (the binoculars in the add singer//song dialog) it starts searching on the first letter so if i am looking for Rob, it brings up every name with an "R" in it anywhere. maybe adding a minimum character number like on the song search for the names will speed things up.
having the search filter on that same screen (singer name only, etc.) stick with the previous selection instead of automatically resetting to search everything could help speed things up.
as the program can detect the end of a song, allow it to start the fill in a second before it ends so there is a fade out and in, kinda like winamp can crossfade with one player. this will remove the 3-4 seconds of dead air between the karaoke song and fill in.
add the "skip silence at beginning" on the rotation screen. many songs start before the music starts and this would remove the need to go into settings all the time.
the lyric sync, add the control for that on the rotation screen by the tempo adjustment. usually if there is a sync problem it is found during a song (later Chartbuster for example) instead of going into settings and changing it having to hit ok for it to take effect, we could adjust it on the fly while watching the screen to get it just right quickly.
