Siglos karaoke pro 2.1.16 data base collection fails

I don't know if this is a problem with 2.1.16 and have been using Siglos pro for a number of years without problems. I ask it to fetch the files in from my folders it truncates the total to approx half the actual qty . From 14,400 titles it brings in only 7336 titles. If I revert to 2.1.13 Karaoke Pro all is fine. I have cleaned out the data base and reloaded the software on a another laptop again with Vista and again it truncates the quantity of files to the same qty as shown above.
