I've tried just about everything out there and find myself using Siglos Karaoke Professional. One feature that would help me tremendously, which is found on a couple of other programs out there, is an option to AUTOMATICALLY DELETE ALL EMPTY SINGERS FROM ROTATION. I currently have to do this manually after every few singers and it is a big hassle. The other thing would be if the fill in music could fade out longer and not cut off so abruptly. It is still better than most as it is but a little more control over the fade out would be great. Thanks.

The challenge you get into whenever someone talks about AUTOMATICALLY doing something is to figure out just 'when' this automatic function should occur.

You are asking to automatically delete empty singers - ok, that is defined in Siglos Karaoke Professional as someone that has no active requests in queue.

You say that you delete them manually after a 'few' (for the sake of this 'feature' let's say you do that when there are three empty singers in queue), however, some KJs (dare I say 'most'...) don't clear the queue because that person just might have another song request later in the night......

Of course, it is possible to put in a timer to clear all empty singers every now and then, though that also has its issues in that let's say, for our purposes, you want to clear every 30 minutes (allowing 4-5 singers to sing once, get into a second round and start having empty singers, etc....). Well, again, it just might be that the person wants to sing another song and you just cleared them from the queue.

Not that clearing the empty singers is 'horrible', but I believe it takes them out of the rotation (as it was) and also you have to then retype the names instead of just using the drop-down when/if they do want another song.

Ok, none of this is end-of-world stuff, but some KJs like using that as a feature.......

So, although what you are asking for is possible, consider that others might like how it works now, and also consider just HOW the feature should work - and, what the consequences are by doing it that way. Getting a feature is oftentimes a trade-off of how badly it affects others and/or other features.

My suggestion is that you put some thought into it from the developer's side and then make some suggestions on how it might just work. Who knows, it might just get done!
