Cannot Convert a CMA file format to a KOD-8+ Format

Hi Moderator,

I have just purchased a Karaoke disc that is in CMA format and I want to get it on to my KOD-8+ machine. Unfortunately it cannot take CMA format files so I was trying to get it to an MP4 format. I purchased and used 'Power CD+G to MP4' and it ripped the file I wanted and converted it to an MP4 file. Unfortunately the resultant file ran and displayed a black screen and no audio. The original CMA file had audio so I am not sure whether I have the correct software to convert this format being CMA. Any thoughts or advice would be greatly appreciated. The Karaoke disc is a CDG / CD+G disc:

Any help would be greatly appreciated as there are a few songs that I desperately want to get onto my Karaoke system.

Tahnk you,

Glen

If it is a regular CD+G disc you are trying to convert, Power CD+G to MP4 Converter should be sufficient for the purpose. Please try to play back the resulting file on the computer, and let me know the result.

KOD+8 Karaoke Machine

Hi:
I also have a KOD+8 Karaoke machine that I purchased from Sanjin.web
It was extremely difficult to insert songs as they cannot be in the regular CD+g format. I found that the power CD to Video Karaoke Converter worked the best. It took days for me to figure out how to properly transfer the song. I found that the instructions were English translated poorly from Chinese. I still am unable to add music groups or change existing groups. It seems that the KOD+8 software that I got from the internet will not allow me to modify the music group list database on the KOD+8 hard drive.
As I have thoroughly searched the internet for help, I have realized that there is absolutely no information out there. I have called China ,but their English really sucks and they don't understand what I am talking about. I hope that more information comes out about the KOD-8 machine as I find it very advanced, but has a lot of bugs in the system.

Hi guys,

Any luck in adding songs to KOD? I can't seem to get it to play and I've tried many formats.
