Power CD+G Burner Not Responding

Hi all,

I just purchased the full version of Power CD+G Burner so that I can burn some of my karaoke files onto a CD-R but the application will not burn anything. I hear my DVD spin like it's burning but the light on the DVD burner is not on and the application stops responding. I also have to throw the CD-R media in the garbage because it's not longer useful since some data has been written...maybe the lead-in? I don't know but it would be great if I can use this software to burn. I am using Windows 8.1 and I have not changed any settings in the application.

thanks in advance.

Does your CD/DVD drive function properly with any other burning software you have?

Yes my DVD burner works fine with other burning applications. I went through 5 CD-R disk now and all 5 of same results... The lead-in gets burnt and then the drive just spins and spins and the application stops responding.

Please run the program and press CTRL+L. A folder with the log file cdgblog.txt will be displayed. Please attach the file to the e-mail message, and send it to support@powerkaraoke.com.

OK sounds good Adam, I just open the program and I hit CRTL+L and I see the cdglog.txt file. I will send the file to support@powerkaraoke.com

Thanks

Hi Adam,

I uninstalled the software and re-installed the software and enable SPTD option during setup and re-started my PC and I get the same results. The application starts to write the lead-in and stops responding and my DVD burner keeps spinning very fast. I have to power off my computer to release the DVD drive. I wasted another CD-R media.

Please help
Thanks
Luc

Please switch to CDRDao mode, and enable MMC_RAW driver in the Settings dialog box.
