Power CD+G to MP4 Karaoke Converter

Power CD+G to MP4 Converter can read CD+G discs directly with most CD+G drives. To convert songs from CD+G disc into iPhone/iPod/iPad-compatible videos follow the steps below.

 

1. Select CD+G disc in Input section (this is the default mode)

 

 

2. Insert CD+G disc into your CD or DVD drive on your PC. If you have more than one drive make sure that Device points to the proper one.

 

3. Click Refresh. You should see the list of tracks. If you have enabled FreeDB lookup in Settings and the CD was listed there, you will see the names of the songs.

 

 

Power CD+G to MP4 Converter uses FreeDB online database to display song titles. Please note that to use this feature you need to be connected to the internet and you must allow Power CD+G to MP4 Converter to access the web if you are using firewall.

Note: Not all CD+G discs are available in FreeDB database.

 

4. Select the tracks you want to convert.

 

 

5. Select the proper output folder using [...] button (you may create new MP4 folder on your hard disc and select it here).

 

6. You may replace default CD+G background with image of your choice -- to do this select 'Set image background' and click [...] button to select the image. You may use JPG, BMP, and PNG files.

 

7. Click Convert.

 

Each file should take approximately two-three minutes to encode, depending on your system. The final files should each have an MP4 extension and each file should be 3-4 MB large.

 

8. Add converted files to your device using iTunes. You may change the type of the videos to Music videos. To do this right-click the song in iTunes, select Get Info, go Options and change Video Kind to Music video.
