Working with soundtracks

The soundtrack is a background music that will play when you play your karaoke video. It may be an instrumental recording, a real song with removed vocals, or a MIDI song converted into appropriate format. You may use audio formats (MP3 or WAV) and they are recommended, but you can also load any other multimedia file supported by your system. It is even possible to use video file as a soundtrack -- in such case the soundtrack of the video will be used in %APPNAME%.

To choose the soundtrack click Load Soundtrack toolbar button (toolbar-loadsoundtrack) or choose Load Soundtrack command from File menu. If it is the first time you use the specified soundtrack, Karaoke Video Creator will scan its contents to increase the performance.

The soundtrack is displayed in the soundtrack panel. To play the soundtrack use buttons on the toolbar or commands from Play menu. For more information on playing files see Playback controls section.

To replace the soundtrack with a different file (ie. with the same song, but after vocal removing), simply choose Load soundtrack again. All synchronization information will be retained.
