The audio dedicated CD-R are recommended for CDG. Also, good quality data CD-R discs can be used, for example TDK.

You may export lyrics in TXT format along with timing information using
'Export Lyrics' command from Toolbox menu. The format is very simple and
you should be able to parse it easily. It is not XML, but it should be very easy to convert it to XML.
