How do I know how many tracks I can burn to one CD

I read somewhere in all of my research that you can burn up to 15 songs to one CD. How can I tell how many I can burn. I did one disk with 15 songs and the words aren't there for the last 5 songs but when I burned it I wasn't warned that I had too many songs. Am I on the right track? Is there some indicator as to how many songs will burn onto the CD successfully?

The number of songs depends on the lenght of the soundtracks. Thus if the songs are long you can fit less, and if short, you can fit more. In the described case, I recommend to change the brand CD-R media used to burn the disc.
