new version freezes when changing skin

Post by fragumon »

2.0.18
windows xp

I like the old standard skin. When trying to change skins the whole system locks up. Also the scrolling message no longer works. Don't know why every update is a problem with Siglos. I am getting to the point where the additional features just aren't worth the risk of an update crashing my system. Don't think I will apply any more updates (or pay for them)

I tried using the default config script that has worked in the past. Now the program simply locks up immediately upon start up. Come on guys! This is unacceptable

I also had this problem could not change skin plus it would not remember the size and position of the boxes until I unchecked all the boxes on the rotation screen next to Add singer/song then everything seems to work again.

I am sorry for the problems -- we did test the new version intensively, but I have to admit that not on an XP system.

I am working on this now, I hope to have a fix ASAP.

1. First the scrolling message -- do you have 'Hide next' option enabled in rotation window? Does it work if you disable it?

2. I am unable to reproduce problem with skin change. Can you please;
- uninstall the program and delete Program Files (x86) / Doblon / SiglosPro folder
- reset the configuration with http://www.powerkaraoke.com/download/si ... lt_log.reg
- reinstall the program

If this still fails please email me the log file (it is sigloslog.txt in Documents).
