Making photo display longer

Is there any way to vary the amount of time an inserted photo will display?

Are you referring to image in the background or to image displayed with the 'Display Picture' event?

Then you can modify the display time by changing 'Keep on screen for ...' value. It describes the time in seconds that the image will be visible.
