Songs spontaneously stop (Fill-in and karaoke)

Hi, I'm running Siglos Professional (most recent update) on a Windows XP Toshiba Satellite laptop. The program spontaneously crashes when I'm just running the fill-in playlist and will also spontaneously crash during karaoke performances. (NOTE: Sometimes the program will require a restart, other times I'm able to unload the current song and restart another fill-in song).

Sometimes I'm running other programs with Siglo's. Most of the time, though, I'm not.

I've submitted a log report of a spontaneous crash of the fill-in list to the troubleshooting people at Siglo's (the karaoke track played fine, but at the end of the log is when the fill-in song just stopped).

In the waiting time, does anybody have any suggestions as to what I should try?

I feel a bit silly. The problem was that I was using a 2.0 USB interface with 1.0 USB ports. Not my brightest moment. The program ROCKED tonite at the show! Hardware. <Facepalm>
