SCDG Ripper won't read discs

Recently purchased Power scdg ripper--upon insertion of disc into drive and selecting disc location---message comes up---"Cannot find cvmd0001.dat file at specified location". Disc is a commercial "Panorama" scdg with tracks for vocals also. Also changed drive locations on computer numerous times.
Also noted that a block with check mark shows up that disc is encrypted???
Any information you can provide to rectify this problem will be helpful.
