Burning CDG's - program always looks in the wrong directory

Just an annoying little thing really, but when I've just added songs from a particular directory to a burn list, I would expect that the next time I burn a CDG it would automatically look in the same directory that I just used. This becomes particularly annoying when I'm burning a large number of CDG's from the same directory, yet each time I click "Add" it looks in some other directory that I might have used several days ago. So I have to re-find the right directory each time. Very laborious. Tried closing and re-opening, that didn't help.
