SKP 2.0.26.1

Post by hornet59 »

Just installed this new version. When I first ran it I received an error message telling me that SKP will need to shutdown. I gave it a second try and so far so good. I will be trying it out for a longer period tomorrow because I don't have any time right now. I'm not receiving the runtime error that I got with 25.1. Anyone else has anything to add?

So far so good after getting it installed. I'll play with it for a while at home before installing into my Gig computer.

Played with the new version for about a hour today, frozen up one time when loading new song and one bug that I noticed is that if a song finishes playing that I am just trying to learn and I go back and just hit the play button to start it again then it will play but it also has the display screen word displayed. The song over writes them. Not a real big deal at this point as we would not let a song play till the end and then just restart by hitting the play button. Just wanted to let you know and other can be aware of it.

I found another bug in 26.1. On the Add Singer GUI, within the bottom window on the right side (below the window with the singer and song). This is the window with the artists and songs listed. If I click on any of the songs, I'll receive a popup that says

"Siglos Karaoke Professional has stopped working

A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available."

I'm using win8.1

I reverted to 24.0 and the problem was not there

I have 2.0.26.1 installed and running windows 7 and I do not have this problem in mind, but I have had this same error message when I used the validate songs, but it would not have this error pop up if I unchecked the two tick boxes in livefolders window before running validate songs.

Not sure what is happening, but when I go to the add singer/song GUI and I search for a song, KP suddenly stops then closes. I tried searching using global filter, artist, title, and disc id, all with the same results. When searching for a song, I tried typing part of the title or name, then pause for a bit, then continue typing. As soon as I started typing KP would stop and shut down. If I press the back space button continuously and really fast, KP will stop then close. Is anyone else having a search problem like me?

I had the same problem, Hornet and reverted back to 2.0.24, which has worked well for me.

OK at least I know it's not just me, but I'll stay with 26.1 for now just to see if there's any more problems I can find. It does look like I might have to revert back to 24.0 in a day or two.
