Screen resizing / rendering problem?

Post by Webby66 »

Hi,
On my laptop & on secondary display the lyrics screen will not stretch to full screen mode (takes up 3/4 of screen width , right adjusted. If I try and move the screen the text doesnt show on the left side. I've tried reinstalling. My suspicions are a directx problem (video mixing rendering 9(?)) or some kind of other graphic card problem. This however is doubtful. I've tried pretty much all the setting but cant seem to get full screen mode properly. I'm close to giving up :-(

Any suggestions??

You may give this a shot goto windows desktop > right click > click on screen resolution in pop up window >
click down arrow in display box (should show two monitors if not click detect) select #2. monitor then try
changing resolution for secondary monitor. you may have to adj centering controls on monitor.

just thought of this one, have you tried (just for arguments sake) changing the second screen resolution to 800x600? when all else fails for anything i send to another screen, that resolution always seems to work in any program i have used like powerpoint.

Solution found.
I had to change my primary screen to a lower resolution (1366x768). Secondarymonitor matching the primary resolution. Any resolution higher and it had screen position problems (secondary monitor).

Basically a setupwith an HD primary monitor beaming or connected to a secondary monitor doesnt work. Could well be my graphics card though.
