Sound Tools 2 Clip Causes Program Termination

I have Sound Tools 2 version 2.0.3.
The 'Process' and 'Merge' features work fine.
However, Sound Tools 2 aborts (not responding) when attempting to use the 'Clip' feature.
I've uninstalled, and then installed the product. The symptom still persists.
Can anyone provide a suggestion on what to try next?
