ok, i think i found it.
with the "read from mp3" checked, it opens the zip and reads from the mp3 tag.
with it unchecked it goes by filename (which is usually faster to import and necessary with video files)
the file names are "Title - Artist - diskid"
the parsing rule is looking for "Title - Artist - diskid - *something else here*"
the "ignore" in the 4th spot is forcing it to look for another field, but finds none so it thinks the naming is incorrect.
1) click the drop down that is marked as "ignore"
2) in the drop-down, above "title" is a blank space
3) click that blank space
4) try importing again just as before with "read from mp3 tag" unchecked.

this should fix the problem

Nope. still throws the filename under the title column to be edited. maybe that hypen at the end is part of the problem its looking for a hypen and more after which isnt there. and there is no blank space above the hypen to eliminate it.

ok....i tried this new way and it works perfectly.
i'm using pics so i don't say something wrong
1) select "Title - Artist" from the drop down menu
Image

2) select a " - " in the next spot
Image

3) you will notice that it will not give the option for you to add "diskID" yet
reselct the same " - " you just did and it will now allow you to change the next field
Image

4) now select "diskID" for the next field, but do not add another " - " afterwards. it will stay blank as long as you do not open the next field
Image

5) just click "ok" and it will import properly
Image

this method takes directly from the filename only and disregards any mp3 tags. this means that your mpg files will import correctly as well.
