play from cd crash

here is the log, the drive works fine, i can rip the disc then play no problem, but when playing directly from disc as soon as i hit "ok" SKP crashes. this has never happened before so i am completely lost.
if i drag and drop a song from windows explorer to the playlist it will play no problem, only when it is add as a normal song in rotation does it crash.
1) add song from disc as normal
2) when it is time to play that song the normal "insert cd disc" dialog appears
3) click "ok" or "eject cd" button
4) SKP crashes

clicking "cancel" does not cause a crash.

i have uninstalled and reinstalled, used a different version, and used the registry reset key, none helped.

Are you still experiencing this problem? I tried duplicating your process and I couldn't recreate the problem you're experiencing. Using a CD works fine on my laptop. Could there be a problem with your laptop? Did you try restoring to an earlier time when using a CD worked?

tried that, not sure what it was, but it took deleting the login and creating a new user. it only affected Siglos so it was something in there, but no idea what.

I'm so glad that you found out a work around for your problem. Too bad you could not zero it down to the exact cause. At least Piotr and Adam know they don't have to research and trouble shoot the problem. Hopefully they can find out the cause of why Karaoke Pro crashes, or at least let everyone know they're still trying to find the cause.

deleted the user and created a new one which seems to fix it but I still cant come up with anything that could be causing it. same issue as well, I can read and play cd's with media player, clementine, PCDJ, VLZ, and anything else, something is mad in Siglos

Piotr, Adam, any thoughts here?

so my host just texts me that she can't play discs again. i deleted and created a whole new login and it worked one time two weeks ago, but now (it hasn't been used since then) it crashes just the same.
come on guys, the silence is killing me.
did you get the logs?
if not i can resend them
do you see the problem?
if not what can i do to catch it
do you have any ideas?
if not, what do you need from me?

the silence about it is the most frustrating part. please guys, i really need help here
