Professional - no singers or songs

Hello all,
I just purchased the Professional version.
When I go to Add Singer, Edit Singers, Add Singer and add a name, nothing shows up in the list of Singers...but if I try to add it again, it states it is in the database. I've tried remove all, change venue to all, remove all, tried adding again, still states they are already in there. I've rebooted, etc.

In addition, the song list is empty, even though I have to set to Add song from the database and there are 521 songs there. If I add one song by Add file, it also does not show up in the song list.

It looks like there is an issue with refreshing the list or reading from the database.

Any help would be great...we have a party tonight.

Did you run the resetting file linked by hornet59? You may also try to delete siglos.db file in Documents/My Karaoke, and load songs to the database again.

You need to click Apply Filter button in order to list songs in Add Singer dialog box.

Hello and thank you.

I figured out you have to key in a singer in the drop down first instead of going to Edit Singer. After that you can go in and edit the singer and it now shows up.

The apply filter did allow the songs to show up. (user error).

On another note:

Is there a way to load up all the songs in my saved list and then just run through them with rotating the singer (without this singer is assigned this song)?

We do a 'scary-oky', draw numbers for rotation and then let the computer pick songs randomly....you can only skip one song and have to attempt the one playing. It is a lot of fun.

We have 'Kamikaze karaoke' feature in the pipeline that would do just that -- it would randomly (or with some restrictions) select song for the singer.
