the visualizations seem to be locking up the system. the karaoke manu screen pops up, but then freezes. using any other background works fine, and the visualizations work fine with fill in music.

Same here Paradigm. Right after the song is done I get the "Siglos Karaoke Pro needs to close" popup. Personally I wouldn't use the visualization feature with the karaoke songs. I'm sure Piotr will get this fixed for those of you that will use it in your shows.

i don't use it either, but i like to test everything when they come out.

Paradigm Karaoke, hornet59 - Before I go off and start a "Can the software do..." thread of my own, what is this "visualization feature" you speak of?

I'm just wondering if this is the answer to my question before I ask if there is a way of playing a little 10 seconds video or so before a new singer starts or after a singer finishes before the Singing Next screen comes up

visualization is like what windows media player does by putting colors and bubbles etc on screen in time with the music.
if what you are looking for is just a short clip "great job" "$3 Fireball" etc, there is the instant sounds and videos control.
you can play audio or video clips of any length at any time.
each bank has 10 slots and there are unlimited banks.
you can also add music videos (if that is more along the lines of what you want to show) in the fill in playlist instead of just mp3's and it will play on screen. there is a check box "show announcements" on the rotation screen. uncheck that and that puts you in control of when the announcement screen finally shows. let the video play as long as you want then when you are ready just check "show announcements" and there you go.

Ah fantastic. I knew of, and use the instant sounds. I recall it being able to do video clips now you mention it! - Just goes to show how much is built into this software.

All I want to do is make little 10 second clips to play randomly after singers to show how to:-
*Like the Facebook Page
*Go to the website
*Use the Online Karaoke Books
*Book my company

wow....i feel dumb....
i never thought of using it that way....
i make a singer screen for things like last call and just add them like a singer....this way is great!
hell, i'm still learning what can be done with this software.
and people tell me it's not pro....GTFO...
