looks awesome..my guests are gonna be happy to see their song history. Is it possible to put a choose multiple option on the my song page so they can choose a bunch of songs from their list to submit at once? So they don't have to keep going back and forth when they just want to sing from their already sung list. Is there going to be a recently added songs button available for use to look at the latest songs added to the database?
KP version 27 is looking a lot better Piotr, good job!
This is a good suggestion. Maybe have a fill in area where the KJ can set a date and any songs added from that date on will be shown.hawke68 wrote:Is there going to be a recently added songs button available for use to look at the latest songs added to the database?

lookin good Piotr!!!
how does the singer move or remove a song from their queue?
i can't figure that part out yet.
************EDIT***************
BIG problem....
i have a singer "Tammy P", but her screen name shows "Tammy". the "P" is only on her remote singer name.
she logs in with her name and code
her history shows upselects a song
SKP creates a new singer "Tammy P" with -1 remote queue pin and a singer name of "Tammy P"
in SKP this singer shows only the new song in the history (since it is a new singer) but the request portal still shows the history of the REAL "Tammy P".
tried with several singers and it happens 100% of the time. that "new" Tammy P is the default but still shows -1 for the pin.
************MORE EDIT************
new singers can not put their name in the name spot after pickling a song.
the field is not selectable at all.
i'm doing this on my test machine and tried deleting all singers and songs, but the remote queue history still has all past singers and can not be emptied.

shame about the multiple request thing but my guests still are excited about this addition. couple issues running it at my gig.
1. as has already been stated name input is unselectable on the queue screen.
2. i have pause if song has duplicates but 3 people put the same song in and it didn't pause (or does this mean duplicates in the database and not in rotation?) (either way I have that box ticked and no pause happened at any of those situations) If the song request has already been put in (same title/artist) is the a message supposed to go back to the requester saying someone has already requested that song or something? If not can that be added?
3. Can the column headers always remain in view so people don't have to scroll all the way from the bottom to the top in order to change the sort orders for the columns.
4. Can it be set to auto log you off after say 10 seconds of no inputs?
5. the remote queue is still adding the new singers to the end of the rotation in stead of the new singer position in rotation rule set in the add singer dialog
6. Can a place be added to change the message returned when freeze is activated to suit our particular style?

if i understand your question correctly, yes.Piotr wrote:Are you sure that the singer is logged off on the first screen and they cannot edit names when adding songs? I will check this.
there is no singer logged in, so it is just like i would leave a kiosk for a new singer. the singer name field does not allow entry. when a singer is logged in it works as i assume you designed it to where the name field is not there at all.

and to clarify, i just tried the new system on my live show computer and had the same result.
my history shows on the phone correctly
clicking request details or edit singer shows that it is attached to my history, but it creats a new singer of the same name with no history.
the rest of it seems to work great, i can see my history and which versions i sing so that is awesome and going to make my singers very happy.

Not sure if anyone else is encountering this problem, but on my iPad, when I use the Browse by Artist and I select an artist that has two or more songs the list does not display. Instead I have the revolving circle that shows the program is working on the request. The revolving circle never stops. The Browse by Artist feature works fine on other laptops and my iPhone.
Anyone else tried using an iPad? If you did, are you experiencing the same problem I am running into? I am using SKP version 27 and it doesn't matter if I am logged in or not.

Singers name not showing up
With the latest build 2.1.1.27 on the phone the user cant input their name as the field is blocked (looks darker).
Then they just submit the song with their names in the remarks section.

Re: Singers name not showing up
Your singers will have to login and then their name will auto populate in the name field when they want to submit a song. Paradigm remarked that for the singer's password he tells them to use the last four numbers of their cell phone. I thought it's an awesome suggestion so I am using it too.AbsoluteDJ wrote:With the latest build 2.1.1.27 on the phone the user cant input their name as the field is blocked (looks darker).
