For example, I selected 3 karaoke songs from CD1, 4 karaoke songs from CD2 and also from other CDs then, I want to burn them to DVD disc, how can I copy these karaoke songs to my PC file and burn them to DVD disc.

I understand you are talking about CD+G songs? You cannot burn them to DVD disc. You may create a CD with song compilation -- see instructions here:

Thanks for your reply, it really gives me new information. After I compiled all the songs, can I burn them to a DVD disc using my DVD writer?

You may use DVD writer, but you have to burn to CD disc (not DVD).

You could convert your CD+G to video and then author your DVD using the modified files.

Power CD+G Burner karaoke software

Post by Corey »

So my understanding is that with Power CD+G Burner karaoke software I will be able to download all my CD+G Karaoke songs into my computer.
Convert the format so I can put around 500 songs on to one DVD?

Do I need to by a special DVD/CD Burner

Thank you

Yes... with the burner software, you can "Rip" the tracks from your CD to your computer. On the burn tab, select what format you want (usually CDG+mp3) then rip away.

In order to burn to a DVD, you require a DVD writer. You can burn mp3+g as regular data (yes, at least 500 songs should fit on a 4.4 gig DVD), or convert the mp3+g files to video and burn that way (2.2 hrs realtime video).

What exactly do you plan on doing with your DVD?

Thank you for helping me understand this new (to me) process. To be honest, I was just going to try and put most of my songs on 5 DVD’s and have a list so I don’t have to keep changing the disks
