cd writer compatible?

How do i know if my writer is cd+g compatible?
I am trying to write cd+g files frome my hard drive.

Please download the evaluation version and see if it works with your drive.

I already purchased this product.
now I don't have any graphics.
so i guess it's not compatable.
Is that how you tell, by going through this process just to find out that your computer isn't compatable?
Is there a list or a test. Or just trial and error?

I'm sorry that you are having problems with our software. There are too many drives on market to test all of them, so we allow users to download the software before purchase.

Please email us a log file created by Power CD+G Burner. It is cdgblog.txt file located in 'C:\Program Files\Doblon\Power CD+G Burner' directory. This will allow us to find what the problem might be.

Have you actually tried burning a disc? There is not a trace of it in the log.

Burn process looks OK.

Please try if the CD you burn plays on your computer from CD drive using Power CD+G Player Pro (demo version is available from http://www.powerkaraoke.com/download/cd ... osetup.exe ). If the CD plays on your computer then the problem is probably with media you are using.

Also please try enabling MMC-RAW driver in Settings.

they do not play on the computer.

I have zip files that i downloaded for a share site.
I extract them to a new folder.
There i use mp3-toolz to convert Audio-graphics to bin files.

Should i just extract the files and burn.

can i use the share files.

You do not need to extract the files. Just add ZIP to the burn list.

Nero Info Tool

I ran the Nreo Info Tool against my computer hardware setup and it told me I could not read OR write CD+G format. I have a USB, Memorex 325216AJ which is a fairly new DVD burner. You can find it this test program at http://www.cdspeed2000.com/go.php3?link=download.html

Hopefully it is accurate.

I could not figure out how to test my drive with the eval version of Power CD+G burner. I'm sure there is a way, but it wasn't obvious. It would seem like you would want to make this test easy to do. For example, if you had a CD+G file already on your computer and then you could try to burn that file to a disc. I would suggest that you might place a CD+G file in your eval files and then have a test button that would start the burn.

You might also want to list a few of the CD burner drives out there that you have tested and that you know will work. That would be a great help.

Actually, the list of burners that do not work with PowerKaraoke Burner is smaller. Basically, your burner must support RAW 96 DAO to write CD+G correctly. 90% of the drives manufactured today can.

Ones that can't? Remember... not all models from each manufacturer can...

Matshita are hit and miss.
Some HP burners cannot (mind you, some models that cannot do it with PowerKaraoke can burn with CDRwin)
Sanyo
Imation
Mitsumi
Opto-write
phillips
Some older Sony's.
