Problems with converting mp3+g to video

I am having problems with converting a downloaded karaoke file, I am downloading files from this site http://www.abcdkaraoke.com which as far i know are using songs from karaoke monthly(panorama) and zoom. when i unzip the file it creates two files one mp3 which is about 3.5mb and the other the file .cdg extension file which is about 1.5mb

when i try to convert it i load the .cdg file in Power CD+G to Video Karaoke Converter and try to convert in avi, yet i get an error which says incorrect parameter can some one please tell me what i am doing wrong ? as far i know these are mp3+g files which i am trying to convert.

It may be that the MP3 file is of incorrect format. Are you using the latest verions of Power CD+G to Video Karaoke Converter?

Yes i am using the latest version, how do i check the format of the mp3 ?

it does play in media player as a regular mp3 with out the lyrics. and also it wil play in win amp with the lyrics. any more ideas am i able to send you the file so you can check it out for me ?
