Hello,

I am wanting to purchase some of this software. I tried the sample player which I like. The sample player did not show lyrics, just some black letters on the screen. Is this normal and will the actual software show the lyrics.

It may be that the drive you have does not support CDG. What drive are you using to playback the CDG disc?

Thanks for the reply adam, I am using a dell Dim. 4600,petium R 4cp, 3.00ghz,2.99ghz, 512mb of ram, with a Samsung DVD Rom, SD616E, and a Nec DVD+RW nd2100AD.

I was looking into getting a Sony lap top for karaoke player,burning, etc.
The rep told me the standard lap tops do not drives that read and burn. Some only read CDG Disc, so I am confused.

Did you try to use both drives for playback of CDG disc? If you want to burn the CDG discs also, please test your Nec drive for burning. Nec drives are not the best choice for CDG. Sony drives usually support CDG well, however, the recommended drives are Pioneer or Plextor.
