need to change format

I just got creator pro and am learning as I go. Songs that I ripped from my own music cd's load fine; however the songs I download off the net will not load. I download into windows media player for both. Cant seem to find a way to reformat the downloaded songs . their not protected because I've burned these downloads to CD's.

Please note, you may load the MP3 and WAV files only into Karaoke CD+G Creator. Other formats are not supported.
