Error: Disc Data Creation Failed

Post by Colorado Party Bus »

I cannot get past the above error.

I also thought you could put 200 songs on a disk but when I attempt to put more than 99 it gives me a warning. Is 99 the maximum number of songs.

Please make sure that you are using the latest version of Karaoke DVD Burner. If you are and are still experiencing problems, please start Karaoke DVD Burner and press Ctrl+SHIFT+L . The folder that will open should contain kardvdlog.txt file -- it is a log file for the program. Please email it to us. It will allow us to diagnose the problem.

Maybe before you just tell me I have wasted all my time downloading all my music 85 disks and two weeks of my time, you should call me and we should try and find a solution. Your software came to me highly recommended and honestly I think customer support should be more than "Oh well it doesn't work, here's your money back." I have emailed you my phone number, please call me tomorrow and lets just spend a few minutes looking for a solution. I saved all the files to my desktop... could it be that when creating the disks the software is not finding them becasue they are not in the path they are suppose to be... after talking to a few people I have been told there is probably a logical solution, so please call me so we can work through this..... Had I known that my time would have been thrown out when the first problem arose I might have gone another way... now that I have spent my time on this project I would hope that you would give me a few minutes searching for a solution. Is it possible I just need to redownload the software.... I would not have to recopy all the music would I? Or as suggested is the software looking for the songs somewhere other than the desktop?

I look forward to talking to you tomorrow. Thanks

I am sorry that the software did not work for you. We spend entire day here looking for solution. The log file shows that one of the files did not encode to MPEG video correctly and the reason why it did not is unknown. The encoder is a third party component we are using and it is not possible for us to do any modifications in it.

As we wrote in our email to you -- we will look for the solution, but it is not a matter of changing setting or setup in your computer. Therefore the only thing we can do is giving you your money back.

Are you removing the DVD Burner from your product list

Is this problem related to the whole program or just my download?

It is some kind of bug in encoder portion of the software, but you are the only one that have reported it. As I wrote before -- we will try to find the reason for this, but it is not a simple task and needs to take some time.
