Great work Piotr! This is the kind of support we rave about to other KJs. When support is on it, there's no one else who is your equal! Keep it up!!!!

Piotr when I select "Before the current singer" in the "New singer rotation position" and I close SKP, is the program supposed to save that feature? I'm not sure if it's just me but every time I reopen SKP it resets to "At the end of the rotation." Is this happening to other users? If it is, can the selection be saved just like the other features? Thanks

Version 2.0.45 that we will release today has this fixed. And also we have added 'Not sooner than after the following number of singers:' option to new singer position that has been requested.

Awesome!! works exactly like I hoped except it goes back around to the top when at the bottom end of rotation instead of dropping them at the bottom but it's workable. Is there any way to stop the rotation drop menu in the add singer dialog from greying out when I select a singer from history? I add a singer by typing in and it stays allowing me to chose the rotation option from the menu, but, when I choose a singer from history I have no choice but to add to the end of rotation because the menu greys out. Other than that it is working exactly the way I visioned when I requested the additions. You guys totally rock. Thank you so very much for your diligence in producing the ultimate hosting program. any word if the on screen countdown timer idea is being considered for implementation? Thanks again.

if you select the place in the rotation FIRST then pull a singer from history it will work.

Piotr, I think what hawke is talking about is to have a countdown timer displayed on the singer screen to let the KJ know how much time (in minutes and seconds) is left before the end of the song. This feature will allow the KJ to run to the bathroom while someone is singing and when the KJ returns all he need to do is look at the screen to see how much time is remaining before the song ends so the KJ knows if he needs to rush back for the next singer. It will also let the next singer know how much time is left until he's up.
By the way, did you take a look at the feature request I added about the fill-in song fading out when the KJ uses the instant sounds and video feature? I use the instant sounds for quick access to dance music that I play between singers, but the fill-in songs keeps playing so I was hoping you could have it fade out and pause when starting the instant sounds and fade back in when the instant sounds stop. I'm hoping this will be an easy addon.
Thanks

here is what he is talking about.
if you look in the upper right (or make it selectable left or right) it shows the remaining time of the song. the color is a signal. over 2 minutes remaining make the background of the timer green (you're good, talk a little more), between 1 and 2 minutes make it yellow (finish up and get back to the board), and under 1 minute make it red (times up...run)
as with everything else, a checkbox in kj settings to show it and one to use the colors would be perfect like this

ok guys, here is another one.
venues will do different specials on different days. give a saved list of additional text for the scrolling message.
add a button to Additional Text...
that will open another dialog where i can put in different specials the bar has on my different nights
i can just check the ones i want to show for the night without having to retype them all every night as they rotate.
the "rotate different message each time" checkbox would allow (if uncheckd) to go through the next few singers (whatever we already have checked) then all the additional text as it is right now, but if checked, it will show the next few singer and then ONE special or message. then back to the singers and the second checked message and so on.

I like your suggestion Paradigm. It will save a lot of retyping, plus having the different messages rotate is an excellent idea. Piotr, you think Paradigm's suggestion and Hawke's suggestion for the timer will be incorporated into a new build? I hope so because both of them gave some really good suggestions to improve SKP!
new singer addition

I love the new singer in no less than X addition. Could you adjust it tho. When at bottom of the rotation list could you set it that if there are less than the selected number of singers to add the new singer to the bottom of the list rather than continuing the count from the top of the rotation list? Currently if the number is set to 4 for example, and you are 2 singers from the bottom it goes to the top and places the new singer 3rd from the top of the list instead of just placing it at the end of the list. Hope so. thanks again.

Guys, I am working on a timer, thought it would be little easier, but it should be ready this week.
