dual monitors issue

I have been trying to run dual monitors off of my laptop (one for the singer one for the audience) and have encountered a problem. (actually the same problem occurred with one monitor). When I extend the screen in resolution and drag the lyrics screen over to the monitors, it splits and adds a black vertical bar in the middle of the lyrics screen
Everything else I drag over to the monitors...ie word documents, the software player etc..moves fine. Only the lyrics screen will not move in whole. I have tried re-sizing it and all variations of resolution and movement. The more I attempt these, the more it it breaks up the lyrics page and the graphics. Essentially on the first quarter of the page drags across accurately.

Has anyone run across this problem..? and How do you fix it? I do have a new laptop and windows 8. My version of Siglos is a little less than a year old. Not sure if it is 1 or 2...if that matters. Any help would be appreciated.

Please try to change a video renderer in File -> Settings -> Display.
