Professional - can't import song database

I'm attempting to rebuild my song database from scratch after updating to 2.0.65 and no matter what I do, the files being imported all have blank data for artist/title/disc/track/time - essentially all that's shown is the filename itself, which isn't intrinsically searchable. I've tried multiple name-parsing formats, using/not using ID3 tags, disabling/enabling time scan, everything I can think of. The result screen will show the correct number of files have been added, but the database is effectively empty every time. Exporting the db to an xml file simply shows the start and end tags with nothing in between.

I'm kind of down to the wire on this as I have a new show scheduled to start tomorrow night, and the import process takes a significant amount of time.

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!

ok, it sounds like a parsing issue, so it could be as simple as "-" (dash) instead of " - " (space dash space) which i have done myself at the loss of quite a bit of hair.

what is the parsing format you are using?

would be helpful if you could copy a song (file name) copy it don't type it so it show as it just like it is when trying to import it. then maybe one of us can help you.
