Sound Choice songs out of sync (CDG files)

Hello, everybody,

I am a KJ in Brazil and so far have been using all my files on my laptop for 5 years, playing them on Siglos Karaoke Professional (everything licensed), version 1.2.105 . I upgraded to Windows 7 and eventually had to change laptops, but everything was fine until 3 months ago, when some of my files started to show out of sync lyrics. After a while, I noticed that only Sound Choice files, the same I've had for years, had this problem.

I tried to change the display quality on the player to 20 frames per second, but the problem didn't go away. I can't say for sure it started when I changed laptops, but it surely began at approximately the same time.

In another forum, they advised to change my codecs and use them instead of Microsoft default ones, which I did, with ffdshow for both 32 and 64-bits, matroska, and win7ds filter tweaker. Still, it didn't solve the problem. I tried making Siglos player use ffdshow filters, but that didn't work either.

So, what am I doing wrong?

You may try to enable 'Use compatible MP3 decoding' in Settings / General and se if htat helps. Also you may change the renderer in Settings / Display.
