This is a great program and better than Karafun in that you can key change songs in different formats but it has one big failing as far as I can see.
When you the key change a song to suit your voice and save it to your playlist, the next time you load the play list the system has forgotten your key change and you have to alter it again.

There is a facility, which is pretty useless to leave the key change in place for every song but as any singer will know, sometimes you take it up 2 and depending on song the next time it could be down 2.

Now am I missing something or is this a real problem and are there any plans to amend or add this feature.

You may store a key change in Siglos Karaoke Professional.

Also, it is possible to permanently change the key for the given MP3 or WAV soundtrack using our Karaoke Sound Tools 2:

It is hard to read the songs in the song list. How do I change the Font and color on the Player/Recorder 2

You could do this by editing the skin file for the skin you are using. For example if you are using default black skin, you need to open the following file in the text editor:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Doblon\Siglos Karaoke Player Recorder 2\skin\black.xml

Please note that you need to do this as Administrator, as you will not be able to save the file otherwise. When you open the file, locate the following section:

<font bold="no">+1</font>

</item>

+1 in <font> part is the font increase factor -- you may modify it and set to higher value. It is not possible to change the text color.

Currently using Siglos Karaoke Pro for my shows where I am the only singer. I have to be near my laptop to constantly change the key on songs that I need to. Is there a product/way to save the key change in my file so when I pull up the song the key change is still there?

When using the program in KJ mode, you may specify a key change for each song you are adding to the playlist/rotation in Add Song dialog box.

I'm still having problems pulling songs out of my file, into a playlist and saving the key change. Thanks for your help, however, could you post a detailed script/steps to add songs to a playlist with a key change saving it as such.

It is not possible to permanently change a key for a given karaoke audio track using Siglos. (It can be done using Karaoke Sound Tools.) When using Siglos Karaoke Professional, you may set a key change for a song when adding song/singer to a rotation. This key change will be applied when it is time to play back the song, however, if you want to use the same song again, you will have to set the key as before.
