pre gap before song

i have a karaoke track which as a gap of 8-10 seconds before the song starts. is there a way to reduce the gap. im left looking like a idiot before the song starts. all help would br appreciated thanks

I am afraid there is none. Mainly because CD+G commands are placed at the start of the song -- if you removed it you would have no color definitions etc.
