Why one much older karaoke machine plays MP3+G, not new one?

[jamiesreich]

Granddaughter got a Hello Kitty Karaoke machine and it will not play the MP3+G discs that my much older machine does play.

Has anyone found problems between machines or just problems with Hello Kitty machines? Her machine specifically is the Sakar Hello Kitty CD+G Karaoke Machine with Lights.

If your problem has been with the Hello Kitty machine, is there a different format of CDG that the Hello Kitty machines use?[/b]
