SKP 2.0.25.1

Post by hornet59 »

Hey all

Whenever I start SKP I receive a runtime error. It says "This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in a unusual way. Please contact the application support team for more information". Anyone else running into this same problem?

Did you try revert to defaults? If not, please try running this registry script:

I totally forgot about the default reset. It worked just fine! Not sure what happened but it just started closing after the error. Thanks again Adam

UPDATE
I reverted back to 2.0.24 and I'm not receiving any runtime errors, so I reinstalled 2.0.25 and I start receiving the runtime error again. Not sure why this is happening, but I hope it's an easy fix. So for now I'll stick to 24.

BTW my laptop is running windows 8.1

I assume you are referring to 2.0.25.1. If not please download the latest release of the program form Downloads section.

Adam, I did download the most current version 2.0.25.1, but I also have the two previous version 25 and 24. Both 25 and 25.1 encounters the same problem. Not sure why because 25 never did give me a problem.

I am having search issues with 25.1 it seems to take much longer than 24 acts like it is searching each letter from number 1 and I have it set for 5 letter before starting search.

I have the same problem. When you type in the search box, SKP acts like it is lagging and takes a bit to fill the search area, by then I receive the runtime error. For now I reverted back to 24 because it is running without any runtime error or search lags. Hopefully all of these problems can be fixed

This is the latest build:

http://www.powerkaraoke.com/download/20 ... -setup.exe

We are working on the problem, but if it still occurs please resend me the latest log and revert to previous version to run your show. I am sorry about this.

I would like to know too, I have a lot of trouble with this same error message, and only 2.0.25 is available, I even reverted back to default settings and can use the playlist fine, just can't import any songs, and I am in trial version.
