General Questions
You should have no problems with running our software on a modern computer.
We recommend Windows 11 and Windows 10 to run our software. Most of it also works on Windows 8 and Windows 7. Needs at least 3 GB RAM. It will not work on Mac.

You need internet to download the installation package from Downloads page.
Once you have it on your computer,
copy it to USB flash drive or any other media and run on a destination machine.
Internet connection is not required for software to work.
Software License
The software license is per user, not per computer, so you may install in on all your machines without extra fee if you are a sole user.
However if you have it installed on two laptops, one of which is for you, and another for your co-worker, then you need two licenses.

You may use the original version or any version released within the year after purchase,
but to use the version released later you need to purchase a renewal package that will give you updates for another year.
We update our software frequently and only the latest version is available for download from our website. We do not archive old versions.

Installing and Running
Please download and install the following program: https://www.powerkaraoke.com/download/vcredist_x86.exe.
It is a Microsoft library that is used by our programs and usually fixes the problem.
Make sure that software is closed when you are running installation. Also restarting your computer might be a good idea if problem persists.
First restart your computer and try again. If this does not help, try re-installing the program (your settings will not be removed).
If still no success, consult the product-related sections below and download the script that will revert the settings to default values.
Unlocking
The best way to enter the unlock code is to select the entire email with the unlock key (press Ctrl+A), and then copy it to the clipboard (press Ctrl+C). All fields in Unlock dialog should be populated.
If this does not work please copy and paste the unlock code. To do this copy it in the registration email (select it with mouse and press Ctrl+C) and then paste into the dialog box (activate unlock code edit box and press Ctrl+V). You may also do the same for email address, as unlock code depends on it. If this still does not work please send us a screenshot of About and Unlock dialog boxes. - We send the unlock code by email, so you need to make sure that your email account will accept emails from us. If you have spam filtering software enabled then adjust it so emails from domain powerkaraoke.com will be let through.

We are sorry, but it looks like your CD drive doesn't support CD+G. There is nothing that can be done about it. The only option is to buy the one that does, most of them do.
To diagnose the problem we need a log file that contains additional information. To create it:
- Run the program
- Click in the program main window
- Press Ctrl+Shift+L
- Message "Log enabled" should appear
- Restart the program
- Follow the actions leading to the problem
- Exit the program
- Go to Documents -- you will find "sigloslog.txt" file there. Please email it to us.

Power CD+G Burner 2
Please download and run this registry file. It reverts settings to default values and usually fixes the problem.
Please email us a log file created by Power CD+G Burner. It is cdgblog.txt file and to access it please press Ctrl+L in Power CD+G Burner and the folder containing the log file will open.
Please try using Siglos Karaoke Player/Recorder to test the disc you have burned
on your computer drive (trial version from our website will do for testing purposes).
If it works, then disc is burned correctly.
Karaoke Creators
Karaoke Sound Tools software contain a vocal remover, but please remember that it is not a magic tool -- it might not work for some songs.
While we did our best to convert graphics in CD+G songs to text, sometimes it is not possible. It may be because of the font which
is difficult for a computer software to recognize or by a non-standard way of displaying text. In such cases we suggest to import lyrics
from a text file and perform manual synchronization.
Please email us your PK2 file so we can see what is wrong.
Converting
Ultimate CD+G to Video Karaoke Converter
is the tool for the job.
It is impossible, but you may use the soundtrack to create a song in Karaoke CD+G Creator.
